Since it’s always fun to get a surprise, why not surprise your child with a note in their lunch? If they eat hot lunch, you could always add a positive message somewhere else they will be sure to see it: their planner or in a folder pocket. Do they have a test coming up? Are they struggling with a friendship issue at school? This is a small way to let them know you are thinking of them, even when you’re not with them.
