You just need a few things for this art activity.
- celery stalks
- washable paint
- jars or bowls
- canvas or paper
Steps for Celery Heart Stamps
For this craft, find a celery stalk that looks like the shape of a heart. Not all celery stalks look like this, so you may have to look over your stalks.
All you do for this craft is dip the celery stalk into paint and stamp it onto the canvas. You don’t want a lot of paint because then it gets way too much paint on the canvas.
It’s so simple! You can just stamp around the canvas, make a Valentine’s card for a friend, or whatever you’d like!
Stamping is great for fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, but it is also just tons of fun!
This is a great process art activity. It doesn’t need to look perfect! Kids will enjoy the activity and it will create some amazing art!
